GetWebP is designed with privacy in mind. All image processing happens locally in your browser.

Permissions Explained#

• Storage: Used to save your preferences (e.g. quality, output format) so they persist across sessions.
• Context menu / Scripting: Allows the "Convert to WebP" option when you right-click on images. No data is sent to any server.

Data We Don't Collect#

We do not upload your images, track your conversions, or collect personal data. Conversion is performed entirely on your device.
