Quality Settings

Adjust how much GetWebP compresses your images to balance file size and visual quality.

Quality slider#

In the extension popup, use the quality slider (typically 1–100). Higher values keep more detail and produce larger files; lower values reduce size and may introduce visible artifacts.

Recommendations#

• Screenshots / UI: 80–90 often gives a good balance.
• Photos: 85–95 for most uses.
• Icons / graphics: You can try 70–85 to reduce size further.

Results depend on the source image. Experiment with a few samples to find your preferred setting.
