Right-Click Context Menu

Convert any image on a webpage to WebP without opening the extension.

Using the context menu#

1. Right-click on an image (e.g. on a blog, gallery, or social media).
2. Look for Convert to WebP (or your locale’s label) in the menu.
3. Click it; the converted file is saved to your default download folder.

When it appears#

The option is shown when you right-click on a valid image element. It may not appear on images inside iframes or some protected pages due to browser restrictions.

For more control (quality, format, naming), use the extension popup or batch processing.
